Robert G. McCurry graduated from Mercer University in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts in the double major of History and Political Science. In 1991, Mr. McCurry graduated from Mercer University School of Law receiving a Juris Doctorate cum laude. While at Mercer Law School, Mr. McCurry was a member of the Mercer Law Review, the Brainerd Curry Honor Society and Order of the Coif.
Upon completing law school, Mr. McCurry returned to his home town of Dalton and joined a large law firm representing diverse clients. After working for five years as an associate, Mr. McCurry became a partner with that firm for over 9 1/2 years before he opened his own practice.
Mr. McCurry has served as treasurer, vice president, and president of the Conasuaga Bar Association. Mr. McCurry is a member of the American Association for Justice, formerly known as American Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. McCurry represents clients and tries cases in all courts, state, federal, and local. Mr. McCurry as a trial lawyer represents people and companies in all types of disputes with a specialty in complex business litigation.
Mr. McCurry is active in the community while having served as a board member of the Catamount Marching Band and the Dalton Little Theatre and is a past President of the Catamount Band Club. Mr. McCurry is married to Donna Mize McCurry. Mr. & Mrs. McCurry have two children, Gregg and Meghan.
